Thanks for the feedback. There’s currently a discussion regarding video guides in our forum, including a survey about video guides:

Show closeups of the components like optical drive brand when tearing apart a notebook.
The whole reason for seeing the guts of a teardown is for the details, but the teardown always skims over the component information like optical drive manufacturer, etc.

Add next/prev arrows on the right/left of exploded views so you can quickly look through all 3 pics.
After clicking on a full-res picture, you have to close it or tab back to the main page in order to see the next full-res image. It would be handy to have the ability to view all 3 pics in a step without closing the pop-up window.

attempt a disassembly/teardown of a 24" Apple Cinema Display
It'd be great to see how they're made and what components are used.

Make the Join Us link more prominent
The login/join us is a little confusing, as I didn't see the Join Us for a bit. Maybe join us should be the default?

We have instructions that take you most of the way there: http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Repair/MacBook-Pro-15-Inch-Unibody-Upper-Case/838/1
We haven’t had much demand for this. If it gets enough votes, we’ll consider it.

Nothing technical, it is just perfect! Just make sure you will be around for many years to come. Great idea and very useful!

Add guides and parts for the 2nd-gen iPod Touch
I've had an iPod touch with a cracked screen for months now, and would love some relief. Please please please add parts and guides. It's been out for 9 months now, I'd expected the parts and guides I need a while ago.

Automatically crop photos on upload
It's not clear you have to crop before you can drag and drop. Maybe you can auto crop to center and allow me to adjust it later.

pawn shop.
create a online shop to buy used electronics from others and then resell the parts yourself. this makes a better recycling program because the customer gets some money, instead of none, and you get the parts to resell.

Give more pics and details for inserting removal tool in panel of iPod classic 80.
The text says "One thing to notice is the angle of the plastic iPod opening tool's tip while inserting it into the iPod. Ideally, the angle should be as vertical as possible while still clearing the edge of the rear panel."
I'm not sure exactly what that means. The tip of the tool has a couple of planes I could reasonably interpret as needing to be kept as vertical as possible... But I can't even tell which side of the tool is up and which is down. I think I need a macro close-up with call-outs to show me exactly… more

Make ipod upgrade kits!
Our iPods may not be broken but they could use better batteries and bigger drives!

Do you sell the iPhone 3G screen replacement adhesive?
I have an iPhone with a cracked screen and an iPhone with water damage that I would like to use the screen from.

Create a guide for removing an RF/ESD shield
Many of the iPod guides show the chips under a removed metal RF shield (or is it ESD shield?). It would be nice to see how this can be done without damaging the board or the components underneath.
